Hey there!
I’m Laura, someone who likes to scribble down thoughts, trying to put into words the hidden and beautiful moments of grace in everyday life. So if you’d like to join me in morning conversations around a cup of coffee (tea will also do, I suppose) or don’t mind sitting around a bramble of apple trees, which is where I’ve begun working on some gardening as of late, then this is for you. Welcome friend!

An Attempt at Storytelling
because why not? Maybe we’ll find a piece of our own tale there.
Hey there! I’d love for you to join me in the journey!
“Listen to your life . . . because in the last analysis all moments are key moments, and life itself is grace.”
Frederick Buechner

About
I love whenever I get the chance to travel. I’ve dreamed about certain places to call home. While I haven’t stopped dreaming, I’ve come to realize the beauty of the place I’ve called home for twenty-some years. I’ve lived in New York my whole life. And no, not the skyscrapers-and-busy-streets-New York. I come from the New York where the hills are like a patchwork of tilled land and pasture for grazing cattle. Where tall pines border the creeks that glisten in the autumn sun; and where small towns in the valley seem a lot like good old Mayberry. . .
